TIPTREE HEATH

The Tiptree Heath Art Trail has seven exciting
art works sited around the walking routes through the heath for you to discover.

To create the carvings, sculptors Jeff Higley, Clint Challoner and Kate Pyper worked with pupils from local Tiptree schools and groups from January to June 2004.

Local people also helped to create the community carving named 'The Memory Tree'. It depicts three main characters representing the history and uses of Tiptree Heath.

Through the fun of creating these carvings and learning about the heath and its uniqueness it is hoped that the heath will remain a focus for the Tiptree Community in years to come and local people will get plenty of use out of the area.
