Phoenix School - Benches
& Phoenix
During 2012/13 Jeff completed two projects at Phoenix School, London SE1.
The first was to animate an underused space by creating two large sculptural oak benches.

After the success of this intervention he was commissioned to create an emblem for the school ethos based on its new name - Phoenix school.
He worked with Clint Chaloner and Kate Pyper to create the two metre oak Phoenix which was then gilded. Positioned to catch the light at various times of day it forms a glowing symbol of the energy and hopes embodied in the school ethos.
